The newly designed Danieli Centro Maskin peeling machine PL125 will process bar diameters ranging from 50 to 125 mm. Thanks to its change-over time minimization system, it will ensure high plant utilization, even in case of small production lots, which is typical for this market.
The new peeling machine incorporates a number of unique design features, such as the automatic re-adjustment tool system that guarantees excellent dimensional tolerances of peeled products, and the under-load tool setup that effectively compensates for wear on the peeling tools during operation, according to the continuous measurement of the actual peeled diameter. Also, high-pressure tool-cooling system will ensure optimal process temperature, preserving the tool service life.
Baosteel will be gaining a finishing machine with a highly automated and stable process that requires only minimal manpower, a small investment that will add a high value.
